Meadowlark Garden

Home to the Holly Trail, this garden is one of the world’s top 25 displays of Asian and American Holly. Take in the views from the Garden’s picturesque gazebo, or go for a peaceful stroll to take it all in. From dwarfs to large trees, with berries in black, red, orange, and yellow, these beautiful Hollies dazzle visitors as they explore, discovering different shapes, sizes, and colors. Many visitors, thinking that all Hollies have spiny leaves and red berries, are awed at the diversity of form that these trails introduce.

Another favorite here is the Tea Olive, whose sweet essence is inescapable on a warm Winter day. In late Winter and early Spring, the Garden is in full bloom with beautiful displays of Edgeworthia, Witch Hazel, Daphne, Carolina Jessamine, and Camellia.
