Pine Mountain, GA – Fantasy in Lights, a more than 30-year Callaway Resort & Gardens light and sound Christmas tradition, is returning this November, and the critically-acclaimed event shines brighter than ever with the debut of a new four-story animated Christmas tree. Centrally located at Robin Lake Beach, the Tree of Traditions is a dazzling 40-foot evergreen covered in thousands of high-definition lights, inviting visitors to sing along to beloved Christmas songs set to a 15-minute show.
“With the new towering Tree of Traditions featuring classic Christmas Carols joining the variety of festivities, Fantasy In Lights is the best place for families to get into the Christmas spirit and make memories,” said Clarissa Chaudoin, marketing director, Callaway Resort & Gardens. “Considered one of National Geographic’s ‘Top 10 Light Displays in the World,’ and enjoyed by millions of visitors, Fantasy in Lights was inspired years ago by Virginia Callaway’s love of Christmas lights.”
Callaway Resort & Gardens is also partnering with Humana to honor Harris County Residents & Everyday Community Heroes with an Appreciation Night on November 11th. On this special opening night, Harris County residents and everyday heroes, including first responders, active/retired military, veterans, teachers, and healthcare workers, are invited to celebrate the Christmas season and give a present to those in need in our community – locals giving back to locals. Residents get exclusive savings with a $15 ticket, with partial proceeds benefiting FOCUS Ministries, helping make this Christmas a little brighter for the local community.
Fantasy in Lights includes a seven-mile scenic drive with 17 festive Christmas scenes synchronized to favorite holiday songs. Scenes include thirty dancing trees at Celebration Lake, gigantic holiday wreaths, the stunning Snowflake Valley, and the enchanting Tunnel of Lights. Visitors enjoy the light displays while singing carols in the open-air Jolly Trolley or cozying up in their car. The breathtaking Magical Field of Lights, spanning nearly two football fields and featuring a 10-story Christmas tree, the tallest in the South, also returns for a festive finale.
The Christmas cheer continues at the Callaway Christmas Village, where families wander through an immersive walk-through experience. A 40-foot-tall Christmas Tree sings jolly tunes for the whole family, and a 75-foot-long glowing Christmas Tunnel lights the way to the Winter Wonderland Walkway, a forest of twinkling lights, and larger-than-life Christmas scenes featuring gigantic snowflakes, towering nutcrackers, and more Christmas surprises for the young and young at heart.
Christmas Tree Lane leads guests down an enchanting trail lined with dozens of perfectly decorated trees while the cozy Christmas Market houses a cast of classic characters like Santa and Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer and friends, seasonal shopping, steaming cups of hot chocolate and special Christmas treats. Gourmet and specialty hot chocolate beverages for adults and children alike are served at the Snowflake Diner.
Fantasy in Lights overnight packages start at $199 nightly, including accommodations at a full-service lodge or family-friendly cottages and villas, Gardens’ attractions admission, Fantasy In Lights admission, and an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet at Piedmont Restaurant. In addition, one-day value, prime and super prime ticket online tickets are also available, providing families who live nearby the opportunity to visit and save.
